ಮಾತಾಡುವ ತೆರ ತೋರದೆ ನಿ೦ತಿಹೆ
ದೂರದ ಊರಿನಲಿ || ಪ ||

ತೂರಾಡುವ ಮನ ತೋಯುವ ತೋಪಿನ
ಎದೆಯೊಳಹೊ೦ಚಿನಲಿ
ತೋಚದೆತೊಟ್ಟಿಹ ಒಲವೆಳೆನಿಲುವಿದೆ
ಪೇಚಿನ ಬುಟ್ಟಿಯಲಿ || ೧ ||
